The Hub in Hattersley is set to host a free event aimed at helping people understand artificial intelligence and make better use of generative AI.
The CHARIT:AI Conference 2026 is aimed at charities and community organisations, which, as the organiser states, are being “asked to do more with less”. One possible solution to this is to lean more on generative AI.
Billed as “the first event of its kind in the UK”, the CHARIT:AI Conference 2026 will take place at The Hub in Hattersley on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026. Between 9am and 4:30pm, there will be a range of talks, Q&As, and hands-on workshops.
In the morning, there will be a series of accessible talks introducing the key topics of generative AI, with the opportunity to ask the panel questions. While in the afternoon, there will be four practical sessions where attendees can learn to use the tools themselves.
This is a free, not-for-profit event that is open to charity staff, trustees, and community groups. The venue, organiser, and speakers are all giving their time for free.
There are just 200 places available, and demand is expected to be high. People hoping to attend need to register via the Google Form listed at the top of the event page on LinkedIn.
