Milton St John's CE Primary School in Mossley has made the month of December special for its students.
Festive Fridays have given children and staff the chance to dress up in Christmas accessories and take part in themed craft afternoons.
Father David Warner from the Mossley Parish also led the students in a socially distanced Christingle. Children made the symbolic Christingle candles and performed carols.
Each class at the Mill Lane school had the chance to see a pantomime performed by Richard Fletcher, from the Oldham Coliseum Theatre. For the past 11 years, Richard has been playing the pantomime comic in Christmas performances at the theatre, delighting audiences of all ages.

Unable to travel to the physical theatre, the school also screened an online pantomime of Cinderella.
Milton St John’s started its own foodbank at the beginning of half term, working alongside Mossley Food Bank in Mossley Youthbase, The Rowans.
They regularly donate bags of food, purchased through cash donations, allowing them to support the food bank and larger community.
Michelle Phillips, Learning Mentor at the school, said: “Thanks to the generosity of parents and staff we can support families through these tough times.”
