Discovery Academy Hyde celebrates 10 years of inspiring young minds

This year, Discovery Academy Hyde, part of Victorious Academies Trust, is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of achievement, growth and community impact.

Since opening in 2016, the school has supported hundreds of pupils, helping them develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive. Over the years, the school has built a strong reputation for its nurturing environment, high-quality teaching and commitment to ensuring every child reaches their potential.

The anniversary provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of pupils and recognise the dedication of staff, governors, families and the wider community who have supported the school's journey.

Executive Headteacher Bev Oldham said:

"Reaching our 10-year anniversary is a wonderful achievement and a moment of great pride for everyone connected with Discovery Academy Hyde. This celebration recognises the hard work of our staff, the support of our families and, most importantly, the achievements of our children. While we are proud of how far we have come, we are equally excited about the future and our continued commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for every pupil."

The school has already begun marking the milestone with a fun inflatable celebration and will continue celebrations throughout the year with special events, displays and activities for pupils and the wider community.

As Discovery Academy Hyde celebrates this significant anniversary, the school remains focused on the future, continuing to provide inspiring learning experiences and opportunities for all pupils.
