Ashton Central Mosque is opening its doors to the whole community this weekend for a special event in partnership with the Tameside Health Group.
The gathering, themed “My culture, your culture, our world,” will take place on Saturday 18th October from 12pm to 4pm at the Ashton Central Mosque Community Centre (OL6 9JA).
The event promises an afternoon of friendship, learning, and celebration, with free entry for everyone and a warm welcome extended to people of all backgrounds. Visitors can enjoy refreshments, arts and crafts for children, and opportunities to meet local residents, community leaders, and health professionals.
Organisers say the event aims to promote understanding and unity across Tameside’s diverse communities, while also sharing important information about health and wellbeing. The partnership with Tameside Health Group will give attendees access to advice and resources to help them live healthier lives.
Everyone is encouraged to come along, enjoy the activities, and take part in this uplifting celebration of culture, community, and care.
