The Hathershaw College has appointed its new Principal, Susie Fraser, who will be guiding the school in its latest chapter.
Susie Fraser, who was born and raised in Oldham, moves into her new role as Principal at The Hathershaw College, and The Pinnacle Learning Trust, during an exciting time within the school’s history.
With a commitment to upholding school and trust values, including that of transforming the life chances of the community’s young people, Mrs Fraser strives to ensure that the pupils of Hathershaw can thrive in all aspects of their education and that they are well equipped to go on to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
Mrs Fraser joins at a pivotal moment bringing with her a wealth of experience, fresh ideas, and a strong commitment to educational excellence.
Alongside her school leadership role, Mrs Fraser has led Manchester Communication Research School since its delegation in 2019, supporting leaders and teachers across the North West to implement evidence-informed practices to improve outcomes.
Speaking about her appointment, Mrs Fraser said: “I am so excited to join Hathershaw College and look forward to working with all those involved with the school and the wider community.
“Together, we will continue to build on the many successes of Hathershaw, ensuring that students here can thrive and succeed whilst also experiencing the joy of education and community.”
