Let the autumn be the time when women rise again

Upturn Enterprise is encouraging women in business to embrace autumn as a season of growth, wellbeing and renewed confidence through a special CROWN networking event.

As the summer months draw to a close, many people experience a dip in energy, motivation and wellbeing. For women balancing the demands of business, careers, family and everyday life, the pressures can be even greater.

To help them prioritise their wellbeing while continuing to thrive professionally, Upturn's CROWN (Creating Remarkable Opportunities for Women Network) is hosting "The Next Chapter", an inspiring event focused on health, confidence and personal growth.

"Since launching CROWN, we've created a space where women can connect, support one another and have honest conversations about the challenges they face," said Maria Williams, (pictured) Co-Founder of Upturn Enterprise.

"Autumn is often seen as a time when people retreat, but we want women to see it differently. It can be a season to reset, refocus and invest in themselves. When women look after their own wellbeing, they are better equipped to support their families, lead their businesses and achieve their goals."

The event will feature Jenny Eastwood, wellbeing expert and Director of Calm Ahead, who will share practical strategies to manage seasonal change, reduce stress, prevent burnout and prioritise health and happiness.

Women attending will also have the chance to strengthen their business confidence through a fun and interactive Elevator Pitch Roulette session, helping them develop their networking and communication skills in a supportive environment.

Adding further inspiration to the day, Iffat Parveen, award-winning CEO of Personal Homecare Services, will share her own remarkable journey from being reluctant to appear on social media to becoming a highly visible and celebrated business leader.

"The women who attend CROWN aren't looking for another room full of business cards," added Maria. "They are looking for genuine connections, practical support and inspiration from women who understand the realities of running a business and juggling life's many demands.

"We want this event to help women reconnect with themselves, recharge their energy, refocus on what matters most and leave feeling ready for the next chapter."

The event takes place at The Hive Business Hub, Second Floor, Spindles Shopping Centre, Oldham OL1 1HE on Thursday, September 10, from 12.00pm to 2.00pm.
