Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash

A motorcyclist believed to be in his 40s has been taken to hospital with serious leg and hip injuries after a collision with a car in Oldham.

Firefighters were called to Abbey Hills Road at about 7.30pm on Monday night (October 21) to make the road safe following the crash.

Police and ambulance services also attended.

The driver of the car is understood to have been uninjured.
