Local people are being encouraged to get ready for a spooky spectacle packed with jaw-dropping performances in Oldham town centre tomorrow (Saturday).
The free event, as part of Oldham's year as the Greater Manchester Town of Culture, will transform Parliament Square into a spook-tacular Halloween and Bonfire Night-inspired celebration with jaw-dropping fiery performances and roaming characters.
Prepare to be wowed with an evening packed with entertainment from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Visitors can experience the thrills of Juggling Inferno, the spectacular fire and pyrotechnic displays of Helter Skelter Arts, and The Lips Halloween Show.
There will also be the chance to come face-to-face with Bessemer the fire-breathing dragon and Toni the giant bat, building towards a breathtaking fireworks display providing a spectacular finale to the celebrations.
The stunning show by Helter Skelter Arts features tight choreography and big fire special effects. This mesmerising duo will dance with the flames, creating a display full of emotion and creativity.
Juggling Inferno is a beautifully choreographed fire display featuring world class fire entertainers, and the Lips Halloween Show is a big pop-puppetry singalong with something to say.
To make it easier for families to enjoy the festivities, there's free parking in all council town centre car parks from 3.30pm.
Oldham Council's Director of Communities Neil Consterdine said: "The Feast of Fire is one of the most exciting events in our calendar during Oldham's year as the Greater Manchester Town of Culture — and it's completely free.
"We're looking forward to welcoming families or an unforgettable evening of entertainment, and with free parking from 3.30pm, it's the perfect opportunity to come into town, enjoy the Halloween night fun and support our local businesses while you're here."
