A local community group is organising a special event celebrating the values of kindness, connection and community.
The Good Deed Circles has organised the Great Get Together and Community Litter Picking Event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Jo Cox Foundation.
As part of the Great Get Together initiative, local people are invited to join in a collective effort to promote community spirit, environmental responsibility, and social connection through litter picking and engagement activities.
During the event, organisers will also recognise and acknowledge the contributions of three outstanding women from the community who have demonstrated commitment, leadership, and positive impact through their work and voluntary efforts.
Chairman of Good Deed Circles, Saleh Uddin Talukdar said: “This event is held in memory of Jo Cox – 10th anniversary and everyone is welcome to come along, meet people and help make a positive difference in our community
“Together, we are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us. – Jo Cox MP.”

“During the event, we will also recognise and acknowledge the contributions of three outstanding women from our community who have demonstrated commitment, leadership, and positive impact through their work and voluntary efforts. They are Sally Maher, Ruji Surjan and Josee Kana Bizi.
"Light refreshments will be provided. Your presence and support will be greatly appreciated as we come together to celebrate community values and shared purposes.”
The event has been organised by members of the Good Deed Circles, Hamida Begum, Saleh Uddin Talukdar, Mahbubur Rahman and Sadiqur Rahman.
