Outline plans have been submitted for 52 new homes to be built on land near Newtown Station in New Mills.
The application includes the demolition of the existing chapel building on Chapel Street to provide the access road to the land that backs onto the railway line.
The proposals submitted to High Peak Borough Council are for outline approval for demolition of existing buildings and the construction of 52 dwellings with all matters reserved apart from access.
In documents submitted with the application, it is stated the homes would be made up of one and two bedroomed flats and two and three bedroomed houses.
The plans are available to view on the council’s website at www.highpeak.gov.uk
