Do you know where your children are?

Police in Glossop are asking parents 'do you know where your kids are' following a rise in anti social behaviour in the town

As a result, police patrols in the town centre have been increased but officers are urging parents to play their part an keep an eye on their children.

A police spokesman said: "Anti social behaviour is behaviour that causes harassment, alarm or distress to other people. It can include both criminal and non-criminal behaviour.

"Over the last few weeks Glossop Town centre and some surrounding areas have seen an increase in anti-social behaviour (ASB) particularly by young people.

"We are asking and encouraging parents to think ‘Do you know where your children are?

"Do you know who they are with? Do you know what they are doing, how their behaviour affects others?

"Do you want that knock on the door from Police?"
