Local McDonald’s Franchisee, Stuart Broadbelt, is delighted to sponsor the Glossop North End Community Club Football Club.
This new sponsorship will support the club, providing kit and training equipment for the current season and seasons ahead.
Stuart, who owns and operates seven restaurants across High Peak, Lancashire and Greater Manchester, has a long‑standing commitment to supporting grassroots football in the local community, through the McDonald’s Fun Football programme. McDonald’s is the longest-standing supporter of grassroots football in the UK and has partnered with the Home Nation Football Associations for over 20 years.
Stuart said: “Youth and grassroots football play a pivotal role in every local community and is incredibly important to us, which is why we’re proud to support local teams through our restaurants.
"We’re delighted to help support the Glossop North End Community Club Football Club by providing new kit and training equipment, and we look forward to seeing them play in their upcoming fixtures.”

Ben Mills, the Chairman of Glossop North End Community Club said:
"It has been fantastic to see McDonald's continued support for Glossop North End Community Club. Over the years, they have sponsored kits for our youngest players, supported our Soccer School Player of the Week awards and helped with a range of events we host throughout the year.
"The players love their kits and wear them with pride, and we're incredibly grateful for McDonald's commitment to grassroots football in our community.
"This year, we've also had the chance to support McDonald's through local litter picks and their charity day, which we loved! We're excited to continue working together and creating even more opportunities for our players and the wider community in the years ahead."
Now in its 25th year, the McDonald’s Fun Football programme is committed to delivering over ten million hours of free football opportunities to more than one million children by 2026.
