Police in Ashton arrested one person and handed out warnings during a crackdown on anti-social behaviour in Ashton town centre.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, were working as part of Operation Barbican.
They carried out 11 stop searches - finding one person in possession of a Class B drug - and arrested a 'prolific offender' wanted for theft, attempted theft and breaches of a behaviour order. They were charged and remanded in custody.
Operation Barbican has been in place since 2024 and police say they have already seen a huge decrease in criminality across the town.
A spokesman said: "We will continue our efforts to make Ashton Town Centre a better place for people to visit."
