Tameside Vets, which has branches in Droylsden, Stalybridge, Ashton and Hyde, is organising a Charity Shoebox Appeal.
They are looking to help those pets that don’t have a home to call their own yet.
They’re inviting people to donate a shoebox filled with food, toys or blankets, suitable for a dog, cat or small animal. These will be distributed to some of the local charities that they are partnered with. People can also donate individual items.
This year’s selected charities are Pennine Pen Animal Rescue, Millstream and Dogs Trust Manchester.
Donations should be dropped off by Friday, December 20, so that gifts can be delivered to the charities in time for Christmas Eve.
The clinics will be accepting the donations at:
Ashton, 341 Oldham Road; Droylsden, Beehive House, Greenside Lane; Hyde, 10 Reynard Street.
