Visitors to Mossley Farmer’s Market are being advised that this month’s market will be relocating to George Lawton Hall this Sunday (October 25).
The change of location is due to the adverse weather conditions that are forecast, with Storm Austen due to hit the UK on Friday. Strong winds and heavy rain are then forecast to continue all weekend.
The market will continue to operate as planned from 10am to 2.30pm, with all the regular traders attending.
The temporary move will allow shoppers to enjoy everything the popular market has to offer in a warm and dry environment, while continuing to support local independent producers, makers and retailers.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to come along and browse a wide range of locally produced food, drink, crafts and gifts.
