Work parties from the 2nd Stalybridge Scout Group have started getting their outside area ready around their HQ off Stamford Drive as they look to resume meetings.
Overgrown grassland has been cleared to create an open space.
Special thanks go to Tony William Thorpe, Carly MacAskill, Ginette Lowther, Richard Unwin and Charlene Murphy for the start of the socially distanced scout garden clean-up, with the whole area being made safe for children again.
More work will follow to continue the clean- up before the group is able to reconvene.
