Tips across Tameside switched to their summer opening times after the clocks went forward this weekend.
Previously operating between 8am-6pm, the gates of the borough’s two Household Waste Recycling Centres will now open to residents from 8am-8pm.

Ash Road Household Waste Recycling Centre: Ash Road, Droylsden, M43 6QU
However, people in Tameside can use any tip in Greater Manchester, excluding those in Wigan.
Those using a van, pick-up or towing a twin-axle trailer will need a free van permit before arrival, which can take two working days to process.
The new hours will last until the clocks go back again in October.
