R-Billys, Stalybridge, was the host of this years Tameside Pride 2026 festival over the weekend, as they celebrated our local LGBTQIA+ community.
The 2 day event saw live performances from guitarist Dale, the Twin Flames, Bonnie, Amy, Ted, Lucy Lush, Dj Camp Paul, and many others.
The team would like to recognise all of the hard work done of putting it all together by Alexx Elsworth who is 1 half of Twin Flames. Every act gave their time for freely to support the charity’s they were raising money for which were Bartys Food Bank, Andy’s Man Club and the Anthony Seddon Fund.
R-Billys landlady Ramona Buxton said "What an amazing 2 days, only possible because you all supported us"
Also a fantastic hamper was raffled off made by 76 year old Sarah Davies, known locally as Mimi, with Jack Stone walking away as the winner.
The team would like to give a great big shout out to the Community that supported this years Tameside Pride. What a great weekend it was and it couldn’t have been possible without the support from the Community. The monies for the charities are still being counted with collection tins still available on the bar for the next 2 weeks.
