Stagecoach have introduced a temporary summer timetable for some of their major bus routes in Tameside.
The 201 from Manchester to Hattersley and the 219 from Manchester to Ashton will run every 12 minutes instead of every 10 minutes, while the 330 from Ashton to Stockport will have four buses per hour in each direction rather than six.
“We’ve adjusted how frequently some buses run to take into account fewer people are travelling during the day,” a statement from Stagecoach said. “In the afternoon, buses will generally leave their starting point at the same time but arrive at their final destination a little earlier.”
These changes will affect Monday to Saturday buses until September 1, when regular timetables resume alongside the start of the new school and college year.
Sunday services remain unaffected.
