A new Farmers Market in Mossley launched last Sunday, has proved a big success with shoppers.
Mossley Market ground hosts the event which takes place on the last Sunday of the month from July to October, with a special Christmas celebration edition also in the pipeline for November.
This joint vibrant community focused event Tameside Council and Little Owl Artisan highlights the best of local artisanry, offering a unique blend of handmade, one-of-a-kind products you won’t find anywhere else. It offers unique handmade gifts as well as farm-fresh fruits and vegetables it’s a great way to spend Sunday with something for everyone.
The first event on July 27th also featured an appearance from a Laurel and Hardy tribute act and a display of classic cars.
Cllr Stephen Homer, Tameside Council Executive Member for towns, transport and connectivity, said: “This market is more than just shopping event, it’s a celebration of everything that makes the Mossley community special, it’s a chance to meet the makers, support local traders and enjoy a day filled with community connections.”
