Now that lockdown restrictions have been eased, staff at St George’s Church in Stalybridge say they are grateful to the team working on their churchyard.
The grass could not be cut for some time due to national lockdown restrictions. The grounds team will now be working to restore the churchyard to its usual state.
The Rev Penny Warner, from the church, said thank you to the people who visit the churchyard for helping to keep it in good condition for everyone.
If you have any questions or if you would like to join the team of volunteers, please contact the vicar, Revd Penny Warner via the church Facebook page.
