A person has sadly died in a house fire in Mossley.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 7.25pm on Monday 22 June, five fire engines from across Greater Manchester were called to attend a house fire on Foxwood Drive, Mossley.
“Crews arrived quickly and used four hose reels and five breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
“Firefighters worked alongside colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service and were in attendance for six hours.”
