Two separate incidents occurred in Ashton on Thursday (24 November) at around 8:15am, causing traffic around the area.
Police say that a male motorcyclist was taken to hospital with leg injuries following a road accident. No further vehicles were involved.
In another incident, a male car driver has been arrested for possession of cannabis, nearby to the first incident.
Road users reported long delays through surrounding areas, including Dukinfield, with police vehicles at the scene.
