Proposals for a new McDonald's drive-thru in Hyde are currently in the works.
The fast-food restaurant would be situated off Grafton Street with 23 new parking space, including one accessible space and two Electric Vehicle Charging Point spaces.
Subject to planning approval, proposals would provide a local restaurant in a convenient location for the people of Hyde and the surrounding area.
A spokesperson for McDonald's said: "If approved, our new restaurant will generate in business rates annually for Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, helping to fund key local services.
"The creation of a new drive-thru restaurant would deliver significant investment into the local economy and the creation of approximately 120 new jobs, in a range of full and part-time positions.
"We recognise that whilst the site is part of a wider commercial area, there are residential properties nearby. We take our responsibility to our neighbours very seriously and have embedded a range of measures in our emerging proposals to protect the amenity of our neighbours."
The community are also being encouraged to provide some feedback and have their say, before Monday 2 September.
An online portal has said that all of the feedback will be "carefully reviewed" before a planning application is finalised and submitted to the Council.
