Evening of Hope to raise funds for Anthony Seddon Centre

A glittering charity event aimed at raising funds and awareness for the Anthony Seddon Centre will take place in Ashton-under-Lyne next month.

“An Evening of Hope” is being held at the Village Hotel, on Pamir Drive, from 7pm on Friday, October 16.

The fundraising evening will include a red-carpet arrival with drinks, a meet-and-greet with the hosts, and a three-course sit-down meal. Guests will also be able to enjoy live entertainment, a DJ, games, a private bar facility, a live auction and the chance to win prizes.

A workplace wellbeing session will also be included for businesses supporting the event.

The night will feature a live Soul and Motown set from singer Colin George, adding to what organisers hope will be a memorable evening of music, entertainment and community support.

Early-bird tickets are available for £50, with places limited.

The event’s message is: “Raising funds. Raising awareness. Changing lives.”

The Anthony Seddon Centre provides support around mental health and wellbeing, and the evening is intended to help continue its work while bringing local people, businesses and supporters together for an important cause.
