A 28-year-old man has been charged with a series of offences following a police chase through Droylsden and Ashton.
It happened on Tuesday evening (4 January).
Asa Hunter, of King Street in Droylsden, has been charged by GMP Tameside's Serious Acquisitive Crime Team with going equipped to steal a motor vehicle, possession of a bladed article in a public place, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, failing to stop for police, driving without insurance and fraudulent use of a registration mark.
Hunter was remanded in to police custody to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning (6 January).
