A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Hyde on Friday night, June 28.
27-year-old Adrian Smith, of no fixed abode, will appear at Manchester Crown Court today, July 1.
After performing a welfare check on a woman in Grosvenor Road, the alleged knife attack took place on a different woman at the same address while officers took witness statements from neighbours.
The victim was rushed to hospital and is now in a stable condition but with injuries police have described as "life-changing".
