Stalybridge Celtic midfielder Liam Tongue has announced his departure from the club.
Tongue initially joined the club in March 2017 under then manager Steve Burr. However, having found it hard to become a permanent starter in the first team, he joined Marine to gain experience. Tongue returned under current manager Simon Haworth and became a fans' favourite at Bower Fold, making a total of 49 appearances and scoring five goals.
