Young people across Hyde and Tameside are being offered the chance to boost their confidence, gain valuable qualifications, and take their next steps toward a brighter future — all for free.
The King’s Trust TEAM Programme, delivered by Future Heroes at Hyde Fire Station, launches next Monday and is open to anyone aged 16–25 who’s not currently in education, employment, or training. The 12-week course offers practical experience, teamwork challenges, and recognised qualifications to help participants prepare for work or further study.
The programme is a chance to develop key life and career skills, including First Aid, Food Hygiene, Money Management, and a Level 1 qualification in Teamwork, Employability & Community Skills.
It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people, build self-confidence, and take part in a rewarding community project alongside the Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service.
Anyone interested can apply directly via https://orlo.uk/O8gI6.
