A Tameside chippy has received zero in the latest 'scores on the doors' food hygiene ratings.
Dan's Fish Bar on Manchester Road, Droylsden, has been told major improvements need to be made after the outlet was given the worst possible rating by hygiene inspectors from Tameside Council.

It was rated zero for - hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building (including having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control) to enable good food hygiene and the system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, lack of evidence that staff know about food safety, and the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
