
Local heritage centres have opened their doors for the public to explore what life was like.
Mottram Parish Church and Mossley Heritage Centre have one again welcomed visitors to their sites with open days for all to attend.
Visitors were greeted with cake, refreshments and a whole host of history as they stepped inside to experience what life used to be like in Tameside.
Mottram Parish Church were on hand to offer a guided tour of the church and introduce the public to members of the Tameside Archaeological Society.
Mossley Heritage Centre were also able to offer a whole host of activities for guests, allowing locals to discover more about the history of the wonderful town.
The days were fantastic for all who attended and were a welcome sight after the pandemic had halted their opening.
