Denton Community Academy celebrates GCSE success

Students at Northern Education Trust Denton Community Academy, one of 17 academies in the trust, have achieved outstanding GCSE results once again.

Students at Denton Community Academy have achieved even higher outcomes than the 2025 cohort did - and that year group achieved well above local and national grades across all GCSE areas. That high bar has been exceeded and an incredible 53% of students achieved a strong pass in English and maths.  

There are some fabulous individual successes that deserve celebrating, including:  

• Rowan O: 6 x Grade 9 and 2 x Grade 8 
• Lily O: 4 x Grade 9s and 4 x Grade 8  
• Faizor A: 4 x Grade 9s and 4 x Grade 8  

Denton Community Academy is now a consistently high performing academy, one where fantastic GCSE grades are not just possible but the expected standard.  There is no limit to achievement at Denton and the reputation for pastoral and academic excellence continues to grow.  

Being part of such a high performing trust has enabled the school to embed consistent routines, raise standards, and create a learning environment where both students and staff thrive. Our Open Evening is on Wednesday, 23rd September from 5.30 pm–7.30 pm and we are looking forward to welcoming new parents to see our fabulous academy in action, an academy where our vision and values are lived every day.  We also guided tours of the school during the normal school day – no gloss, no spin. Come and see us - even during the last lesson on a Friday!  We’re confident you’ll find a calm, friendly, purposeful school, filled with brilliant students and passionate staff, all working within state-of-the-art facilities.
