A Coronation Street star from Audenshaw is celebrating the birth of her first child.
Brooke Vincent, best known for playing Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, announced on Monday that she has given birth to a baby boy with her partner - former Oldham Athletic footballer Kean Bryan.
The actress posted to her 876.5k Instagram followers: "On Wednesday 23 October at 8.14am, our baby boy arrived. Mexx S J Bryan, you complete us."
She added: "Sometimes, every once in a while, something happens that makes you believe in the true meaning of magic. Our Baby B - we are so excited to be your Mummy and Daddy."
Brooke's final scenes on the cobbles recently aired and it has not been 100 per cent confirmed when or if she will return after her maternity leave.
The 27-year-old found out she was expecting her child back in February with former Manchester City player Kean, who she has been in a relationship with since 2016.
