Storm Lilian has made its presence felt across Tameside today, with travel services disrupted and trees falling as strong winds hit the borough.
Travel on the Ashton Metrolink link line was suspended this morning after 80mph winds stopped trams from running.
Following this, one of the trees in Waterloo Park, Ashton, split at the Oldham Road entrance. This has been reported to Tameside Council due to its proximity to the road.

A video released this morning also showed a tree falling down, branches being blown down the road and garden furniture flying across a garden in Hyde.
