The Bloods claimed their first win of the season with a 2-1 Victory over local rivals Mossley on a hot Bank Holiday Monday at the Butchers Arms.
Mossley took the lead against the run of play after 20 minutes when Ben Halfacre collected the ball on the edge of the area and his shot into the top corner of Chris Thompson’s net.
Bloods levelled seven minutes before half time when skipper Domaine Rouse slotted home from the edge of the area after good work down the right from Diego Lattie.

In a tight second half with few chances, Droylsden took the lead when substitute Stephen Rigby scored directly from a free kick on the edge of the area, Forth parrying his effort into the back of the net.
Rigby could gave claimed a third shortly afterwards bursting into the box only for keeper Forth to save from close range.
At the other end as the visitors pressed for an equaliser Thompson saved from close range to deny substitute Keogh’s near post header.
