The beloved local running event ‘the Tour’ is back for 2026. 

Ashworth Lane in Hattersley has been closed today (17 December) after emergency services were called following a police chase that started in Hyde.

The Active Tameside Festival of Sport & Wellbeing is back for 2026, and is set to take place at Active Copley on Saturday, January 31.
