Two women have been arrested as a 38-year-old man has been left in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed at a house in Oldham.
The man was airlifted to hospital, where he is being treated for injuries described as life-threatening.
Police were called shortly after 9.20am on Sunday (12 January) to a property on Howardian Close.
Two women, aged 29 and 50, have been arrested on suspicion of assault but Greater Manchester Police say enquiries are ongoing.
A police cordon is still in place at the house this afternoon (Monday) while investigations continue.
