A teenager was taken to hospital after a car overturned down an embankment in Denshaw yesterday evening (Sunday).
It happened at around 7pm when police were called to reports of a collision on Huddersfield Road involving a black vehicle.
As a result, a 17-year-old female was hospitalised with serious injuries.
Huddersfield Road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
Greater Manchester Police say no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
