Police in Failsworth are urging parents to remind their children about the impact anti-social behaviour can have on others following an increase in reports about youth-related disorder at Tim Hortons in Oldham.
Officers have seen a noticeable increase in young people causing issues for staff, customers and the wider community at the fast-food restaurant on Manchester Road.
A spokesperson for the Failsworth/Hollinwood Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “While the majority of young people are well‑behaved, a small number have been involved in behaviour that is causing issues for staff, customers, and the wider community.
“We’re asking parents and carers to help us by speaking with your children about where they are spending their time, reminding them about respectful behaviour in and around local businesses ensuring they understand the impact ASB can have on others.
“Our officers will continue conducting regular patrols in the area and working closely with Tim Hortons staff to identify those responsible.
“Together, we can keep this space safe and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for your support.”
