Police are appealing for information after a man died following a road traffic collision in Oldham.
Officers, along with the emergency services, were called to Glodwick Road at 5:47am last week (Thursday, September 18, 2025) to reports a 20-year old man had suffered serious injuries.
Sadly, he died a short time later. The driver of the car – a man, aged 53 – stayed at the scene. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, but was bailed pending further enquiries.
The incident is being investigated by GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit and enquiries are ongoing.
The family of the deceased man are being supported by specialist officers.
