A 34-year-old man from Oldham has received a suspended jail sentence for possessing indecent images of children and distributing them.
Muhammad Abbas was charged with three counts of possessing indecent images of children, two counts of distributing indecent images of children, and one count of possessing extreme pornographic images.
Abbas pleaded guilty to the offences at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester.
At the hearing on February 13, he was given an eight-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months, ordered to complete 20 days of Rehabilitation Activity Requirement, and ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
