An Oldham woman will be spending Christmas behind bars after being jailed for multiple charges, including carrying an offensive weapon.
Becky May Holmes, who was wanted by police, was found and arrested last Friday (10 December) by local neighbourhood officers in Chadderton.
The 32-year-old was later charged with two counts of vehicle interference, theft from a motor vehicle and possession of an offensive weapon.
After being remanded in police custody, she was convicted of all of the offences at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday (13 December).
Holmes will now serve 14 weeks in prison.
Greater Manchester Police's Oldham team said: "This is an early Christmas present for the residents of Oldham, especially Chadderton and Werneth."
