Greater Manchester Police officers investigating the death of a man in Oldham have secured a further three arrests as their work continues.
GMP were called to a property on Eldon Street at around 7.50pm on Wednesday 28 May 2025 after a 50-year-old man was found deceased. His family have been informed and continue to be supported by specially trained officers.
Enquiries are ongoing to determine the full circumstances which led to the man’s death.
Yesterday (3 June 2025), two men, aged 50 and 52, were arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A 64-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder last week has also since been released on bail.
As officers continue their investigation, they are asking for anyone in the community with any information to please come forward.
This includes anyone who believes they saw something suspicious in the area last week, or has CCTV or doorbell footage capturing events from around the time.
Detective Chief Inspector Zahid Latif, from GMP’s Oldham district, said: “We have now made four arrests as part of this investigation, and are continuing at pace with our enquiries as we work to establish the full circumstances of this man’s death.
“Ultimately, we want to provide key answers for his family and friends, and I would urge anyone in the community with information to please come forward.”
