Greater Manchester Police have launched an appeal after the death of a woman found unconscious on the Oldham-Tameside border.
The woman, who was 70 years old, was taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' after being found unconscious on Waggon Road at approximately 2:30pm on Sunday (10th August).
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is now appealing for information from the public to find out how she came to be on the road.
Anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage should call the SCIU on 0161 856 4741, quoting incident number 1858-10/08/25.
