The Prime Minister visited Glossop's Commercial Inn to present the pub with an award and was captured sharing a joke with regulars.
The Commercial was named High Peak's Best pub. Mr Sunak and his wife stayed in the pub for an hour talking to punters.
Later on he was seen in nearby Marple but was booed and called on to resign when he went to a cafe in Stockport.
