A group of walkers needed rescuing on Saturday (11 December) after they became disorientated in the mist while walking on Kinder Scout.
Members of both the Buxton and Kinder Mountain Rescue Teams were called out just before 5pm.
The volunteers headed onto Kinder Scout in small team from various directions and the missing walkers were located within the Woolpacks.
Cold and wet, but otherwise okay, the walkers were escorted back down to Edale Cross and transported off the hill in 4x4s.
