While most of Glossopdale celebrated Halloween last Thursday, two venues left it late.
Glossop Market and the Howard Arms chose Saturday to dress up in their ghoulish best to have a spooktacular time.
Stallholders got out the face paint and glitter and dipped into the fancy dress box to come up with some zany and colourful costumes.
Not to be outdone, some of their customers also decided to get into the spirit of things by coming out in their freakish finery. Stalls were decorated with a Halloween theme which made shopping an even bigger pleasure.

Over at the Howard Arms there was fun inside and out.
A stilt-walker and fire eaters created a circus atmosphere, while displays on the High Street East pub’s cobbled forecourt and huge signs on the walls made for a creepy carnival creation.

Inside the spookily decorated pub the fun and action was just as intense as customers partied.
Dressed up, made up and determined to have a good time it was just reward for licensee David Greenall and his team who worked wonders to give customers old and new a time to remember.
