Glossop Arts Project has announced that it has postponed its Christmas party because of the current situation regarding the Omicron variant of coronavirus.
It was scheduled to take place on Monday (20 December) at Bradbury Community House on Market Street.
High Peak MP Robert Largan, local councillors and GAP participants and volunteers were all due to attend.
GAP said in a statement: "It is with great sadness I have to announce we are postponing the Christmas party on Monday - we will have a knees up in the new year when it's safer!
"As a team, we think it's the most sensible thing to do. The Omicron numbers are rising so rapidly we don't want to risk anyone getting sick so near to Christmas."
