Work is on track for a major route between Buxton and Whaley Bridge to reopen as planned in September.
The A5004 Long Hill route has been closed since late April to allow for repairs to part of the road that had collapsed.
Derbyshire County Council confirmed this week that the works are going well and are on schedule.
