Rebecca Harvey from Glossop is taking on the Alzheimer’s Society’s Trek26 in the Peak District with her dad and the rest of her family in a fundraiser that carries deep personal meaning
The challenge falls on her nana’s birthday, making the effort especially poignant after her experience of losing her to vascular dementia.
Rebecca is also hosting a free Yoga for Brain Health session on Sunday 19 April to support her fundraising. The event will offer simple, accessible yoga, plus tea, cake and a chance to connect, with donations going to Alzheimer’s Society at Pause Yoga Studio in Hadfield. The sessions will be at 9:30am, 12pm and 2:30pm
Alzheimer’s Society funds vital support for people living with dementia and their families, alongside research to improve understanding and treatment.
